First Club Medal for the 2011-12 Season
Congratulations to our 13U Black team who participated in the 13U Provincial Cup and came away with their first medal of the season and as a team! Way to go girls!!!
The Etobicoke Tians 14U and 15U Black teams travelled to Sherbrooke, Quebec in May to compete with 23 other teams at the Canadian East Nationals. Both teams played great all weekend and had a chance to have their medals awarded together.
The coaches are very proud of all the effort put in by the team throughout the entire tournament. The girls played hard and improvement was seen in each and every game. Facing a team they had lost to earlier that day, the girls gave it everything in their final game of the day to win the bronze medal in Cambridge. Well deserved!
Our U12's are doing all the little things right! Playing up in the 13U age division the girls have been working hard and getting better each time out. This past tournament they came in ranked tenth and finished the tournament in 8th. The future looks bright for this group of young dedicated athletes!
Smiles all around for first medal of the season - a Bronze for the 16U Black team playing in Burlington earlier this season.
Things are looking "up" for the 14U Black team as they were named the Team of the Month for January - as they won two Gold and one Silver medal in three consecutive OVA tournaments in January.
The 15U Blue team win their second medal of the season as they took home the Bronze from their Feb 12th tournament.
In only their third tournament together the 14U Blue team were on top of the world after winning thier first Gold medal, This after winning a bronze the tournament before. Way to go girls!
And who says January is a terrible month?! These silver smiles weren't just created from their braces, it's also from the silver mebals they won at UofT in the Championship East Tournament
The Titans 14U Black team won their 2nd Gold Medal of the season in the 15U Age Division! The team played outstanding volleyball and did not lose a set!

With the help of a couple of recruits from the Holy Child C.S. volleyball program the 14U Blue team move forward and win their first medal of the season! Someone tell that coach to say "cheese"!

After playing hard during round robin the team finished first in their pool. They continued to dominate during playoffs, finally ending up in the Gold medal match against a tough Mississauga Pakmen team. After easily winning the first set 25-15, Pakmen really turned up the heat for the second set. The girls managed to rally back from being down 23-21 to win the set 25-23. It was a hard fought day by all team members and the girls are to be congratulated on their efforts. They are excited to be moving up to the Championship division for our next tournament.

Everyone wants to have their picture taken with...THE TITANS...even Prime Minister Stephen Harper couldn't resist, when he saw some of the 13U Black team at the recent Provincials in Waterloo. There was so much fan fare and security...who knew we were so famous. Hey Barack...look for us in Pittsburgh, maybe you too, can have your picture taken with THE TITANS!!!!
The U14 Etobicoke Titans played in the U15 Provincials April 23, 24 and 25 at Rim Park in Waterloo. Friday and Saturday was pool play and the girls went undefeated both days. Sunday was playoffs. They won the first two playoff games aginst Markham Stingers and Grizzlies in two straight which placed them in the semi-finals. They went on to face the Rapids. They lost the first match 16-25, and came back to win the second 25-18 and ended up winning the third match 15-12 placing them in the gold medal match. They played the Sudbury Chill in the finals, winning the first game 25-11 and the second 25-19 making them the Gold Medalists in Division 2 Tier 1 in an age up! The coaches just want to say Congratulations to the team and that they are so proud of the girls! They also want to thank the parents and families for comming out to support the team. What a great way to end the season!
It's all smiles as the Etobicoke Titans 15U Blue team capture the Bronze medal at the Bugarski Cup in Premier - OVA's top division.
The 14U Blues win GOLD in Peterborough! It was a tough day as the team was down 2 players but the girls played tough and fought it out until the end of the day!
The team didn't do it the easy way as they lost the first sets in both the Semi's and the Finals. However, the girls played hard until the end of the day and are very excited to be moving up to the Championship Tier.
U14 Etobicoke Titans Black Team-3rd Gold Medal
On February 13th the Etobicoke Titans U14 team played in the U15 zone B tournament. They were definitely the underdogs being the only U14 team there. They placed 1st in their pool and went all the way to the finals to play Interclub who were ranked first in the tournament. They had a rough start losing the first game and then won the second 25-13. The third game was very intense. We were down 8-13! But the girls got back on their feet and did not give up! They fought hard and won the game 16-14 to crown them with the GOLD MEDAL! The girls are now moving up to the Championship division for U15! Congratulations!!! Nothing is impossible.
14U Black win 2nd Gold!
"The Etobicoke Titans U14 Team played in the U14 Challenge Cup on January 30th. They came first in their pool and then made it to the finals; winning all their games in 2 straight! They went undefeated all day! In the Gold Medal match Peel Selects came out fighting! They gave us a great game but we still made it on top! Congratulations on the GOLD girls! Hard work and long hours do pay off!"

The 15U Blue Team - coached by Vito Degiorgio, Margaret Sawicka, and Nancy Nigh -won gold at the Championship East tournament in Ottawa on Jan. 16th. The team now moves to Premier division where they will compete as one of the top 12 teams in Ontario
Every cloud has a Silver lining. At least that's what the U13 Black team believe. In their second tournament of the season the team won their first medal. Congratulations to the U13's on their Silver medalwon at the U14 tournament Jan.9th.
